I am with you always until the end of this world - Jesus (Matthew 28:20).

Preach the Word in season and out of season reproving, rebuking or advising always with patience and providing instructions (2 Timothy 4:2).

Do not fear, Mary, for God has looked kindly on you (Luke 1:30).

Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly. - G. K. Chesterton

My Reflection for Monday July 1, Thirteenth Week in Ordinary Time: Matthew 8:18-22

My Reflection:
A Eucharistic lay minister was asked by his indisposed parish priest. To go to a faraway place to led the celebration of the word of God with Holy Communion. Being true to his calling the Eucharistic minister had no other choice but to go. So he cancelled his family commitment so that he would be able to live his calling as a follower of Jesus.

It’s never easy to serve God; we have to sometimes sacrifice our very own comfort or even the comfort of our family. We need to sometimes give it up so that we can faithfully serve Jesus and His people.

We must follow nevertheless even if it’s hard because to faithfully follow Christ is the only way that will lead us to our salvation. …
