My Reflections for June 23 Saturday of the Eleventh Week in Ordinary Time Matthew 6:24-34

My Reflections:
Which would we choose Jesus or the riches of this world? If we choose to faithfully follow Jesus we will have peace and contentment in our life. On the other hand if we follow the riches of this world we will have all the material comforts but we will not have peace and contentment.

The wise choice is always to follow the righteous path of Jesus but few are doing this now as evidenced by the problems that confront the world now and this is the macro viewpoint. On the micro point of view let us look at how problematic our lives now, let us look at how problematic many families  because they chose to follow the riches of this world.

If we chase the riches of this world it will give us temporary happiness and satisfaction that will ultimately unravel to become undeserved pressure that may eventually kill us. Whereas if we chose Jesus we will have peace and serenity in this world and the life beyond this.

The right choice is to always follow no other than Jesus and His teachings.
