I am with you always until the end of this world - Jesus (Matthew 28:20).

Preach the Word in season and out of season reproving, rebuking or advising always with patience and providing instructions (2 Timothy 4:2).

Do not fear, Mary, for God has looked kindly on you (Luke 1:30).

Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly. - G. K. Chesterton

My Gospel Reflections for May 30, Wednesday of the Eighth Week in Ordinary Time, Mark 10:32-45

My Reflections:
James and John wanted the best seat in the house, they wanted to seat side by side with Jesus in heaven. I don’t know for what reason but we can only guess that whatever reason they have It’s selfish and has ulterior motives attached to it.

Real followers or those who want to serve will not care if they are seen or noticed. They quietly serve without ulterior motives for they know that Jesus knows everything that they do and think about.

Let us not do our acts of kindness and charity for the reason that we want people to admire us. Let us rather do it because that’s how Jesus did it when He walked on this world more than two thousand years ago.

Jesus did His acts of kindness and charity without ulterior motives in His mind and we must do the same also.
