I am with you always until the end of this world - Jesus (Matthew 28:20).

Preach the Word in season and out of season reproving, rebuking or advising always with patience and providing instructions (2 Timothy 4:2).

Do not fear, Mary, for God has looked kindly on you (Luke 1:30).

Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly. - G. K. Chesterton

My Gospel Reflections for Saturday October 8: Luke 11:27-28

My Reflections:
When we flatter others they usually recognize the compliment or even when we receive flattering comments about us we also recognize it. But how about Jesus? Does He need to be flattered?  No, He doesn’t need any flattering words from us but there’s a much profound action that He wants from us and that is to hear the word of God and observe it.

Whether we admit it or not; to hear the word of God and observe it is something that is always lacking in our lives. Yes we hear the words of God but do we practice it faithfully?

What matters to Jesus is we walk our talk, we hear His words and then we put it into action. What If we will not follow what He wants from us?

Just look around or browse the news and we will know what happened to those who did not hear the word nor observe it. ...
