I am with you always until the end of this world - Jesus (Matthew 28:20).

Preach the Word in season and out of season reproving, rebuking or advising always with patience and providing instructions (2 Timothy 4:2).

Do not fear, Mary, for God has looked kindly on you (Luke 1:30).

My Reflections for Monday, September 12: Luke 7:1-10

My Reflections:
What is the lesson for us in the gospel? Its concern for the deprived and poor, the concern of the military officer for his slave is very admirable. We must emulate his worthy action of giving concern most especially to those who are poor.

What if the officer was heartless? Of course there would have been no healing for the slave. By his act of concern his slave was healed by Jesus.

We often times lose sight of the fact that we need to be concerned with the wellbeing of others especially those who are powerless and poor. ...
