I am with you always until the end of this world - Jesus (Matthew 28:20).

Preach the Word in season and out of season reproving, rebuking or advising always with patience and providing instructions (2 Timothy 4:2).

Do not fear, Mary, for God has looked kindly on you (Luke 1:30).

My Gospel Reflections for Thursday September 22: Luke 9:7-9

My Reflections:
Herod was curious about the true identity of Jesus; he had that burning desire to see Jesus. Not because it was fueled by his faith it was rather out of interest if John had risen.

We must exert every possible way to know more about Jesus for the reason that we want to have a deeper intimacy with Him. And this desire to know more about Him must lead us to a deeper faith and love for Him.

To whom does Jesus always manifest Himself now? It’s the poor ones, the deprived, the hungry and the oppressed. If we want to know Jesus deeply we must exert every possible effort to help and love them. ...
