My Gospel Reflections for July 8 Friday of the Fourteenth Week in Ordinary Time: Matthew 10:16-23



My Reflections:
Martyrdom or being ostracized by the people of this world is always the price to pay once we choose to be faithful to Jesus. This is the life of saints and those who were/are faithful to their disciples for Jesus. To sacrifice our lives for Jesus is a small price to pay for what awaits us in heaven when we are through with our earthly journey.

WE must not be afraid of the persecution that we may receive because of our faithful discipleship. Let us all remember that our salvation will not come from anyone but only through Jesus.

How feeble is the person who gives up his faith simply because he is being despised by the people of this temporary world.
