My Gospel Reflections for July 7 Thursday of the Fourteenth Week in Ordinary Time: Matthew 10:7-15

My Reflections:
Have we totally surrendered our everything to Jesus?  Our everything means our life and our future.  To surrender our everything for the sake of Jesus is hard to do for a person without faith.

But for those who firmly believe that Jesus will take care of his everything; surrendering his life for the sake of the advancement of Jesus’ teachings is a no brainer.

This was the admonition of Jesus to His apostles when they were about to be sent to their mission and He said:  Do not take gold or silver or copper for your belts; no sack for the journey, or a second tunic,  or sandals, or walking stick.

In other words Jesus was telling them to surrender their everything to Him for He will surely take care of it.

How about us, have we surrendered our everything to Jesus?

Or we are still trusting on ourselves…
