My Gospel Reflections for July 27 Wednesday Seventeenth Week in Ordinary Time: Matthew 13:44-46

My Reflections:
What are we willing to give—up for the sake of God? There are countless worldly things that we need to give-up and most of these worldly things are very hard to let go.  For example treasures power and other worldly possessions it’s so hard to let go of these things.

But there is something that is infinitely glorious than the things of this world. What is it? It’s God! Once we find Him in our lives we will be willing to let go of our everything and we will be prepared to forget ourselves for Him.

Let us continue our search for Him, let us not tire and let us not give-up until we find Him. …
