I am with you always until the end of this world - Jesus (Matthew 28:20).

Preach the Word in season and out of season reproving, rebuking or advising always with patience and providing instructions (2 Timothy 4:2).

Do not fear, Mary, for God has looked kindly on you (Luke 1:30).

My Gospel Reflections for March 9, Ash Wednesday: Mark 10:32-45

My Reflections:
What must we do during this special season of Lent? We must have an honest to goodness self-examination of our own sinfulness and we must repent from it. This is the reason why when ashes are put in our foreheads the ministers would say: “Repent and hear the good news.” (Mark 1:15)

Let us be humble us we journey these forty days for it is only in our humility that we will be able to accept our sinfulness. Let us meditate on the goodness of God for us that He even gave His only begotten son for the sake of our salvation.

May we all have a humble and repentance filled Lent. …
