My Gospel Reflections for Saturday March 27: John 11:45-56

My Reflections:
The Pharisees and the scribes were always tailing Jesus. They were keenly observing His every move slowly they observed that Jesus’ popularity was growing by the day and slowly also they felt threatened by His popularity with the masses.

They were greedy with the power that they had; so they laid a carefully planned plot to kill Him and their evil scheming eventually led to Jesus’ death on the cross.

Greed in any form is a very dangerous emotion that we must avoid for this will push us to commit sin. We must not allow it to control us we must rather control it, then eventually do away with it for it will not do us any good.

There are greedy people in the Philippines that is why until now we are still a third rate country. These greedy bunch have this insiatable lust for power and wealth that they cling to it no matter what it takes.

Let us all pray for the greedy that they will soon be enlightened by the light of Jesus.
