I am with you always until the end of this world - Jesus (Matthew 28:20).

Preach the Word in season and out of season reproving, rebuking or advising always with patience and providing instructions (2 Timothy 4:2).

Do not fear, Mary, for God has looked kindly on you (Luke 1:30).

MY Gospel Reflections for Monday August 31: Luke 4:16-30

My Reflections:
Jesus read from a scroll written by the prophet Isaiah; what was written there describes Jesus and the difference that He will make in our lives.

This is what Jesus read: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.

This is what Jesus is capable of doing and more. However, before we’re able to feel His presence we need also to develop that certain degree of intimacy with Him. We can achieve this intimacy by having a constant presence in the celebration of the Eucharist/Holy Mass.
