My Gospel Reflections for Wednesday: August 13, Matthew 18:15-20

My Reflections:
The best way to settle any form of conflict is through negotiation. Sadly, this is not what is happening now. For example, the war that erupted between Russia and Georgia. Both armies inflicted catastrophic damage first before they agreed to sit down and talk.

Some couples when they have conflict they refuse to talk they just ignore each other until they create a wall that will permanently divide them.

In the Gospel, Jesus tells us how to best solve any form of conflict. “If your brother sins against you go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won over your brother. If he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, so that every fact may be established on the testimony of two or three witnesses.”
